My wife's fish wad excellent too although i only got one bite of that. My fish came with scallops and shrimp grilled deliciously along with mussels over saffron rice. I settled on the piah since I don't usually get that. The main course was a difficult decision because so much on the menu looked enticing. She was kind enough to share so I can say that was also very good. My wife had the Meze platter with hummus, olives, and marinated vegetables along with an ample supply of pitas. I would have locked the bowl if I was at home. I started with the potatoe soup with an English chedder ale infused cheese. The only fifteen side was it was a little bit tight. We very much enjoyed the atmosphere of the setting. It's a beautifully done older building in what used to be a dentist's office on the ground floor and residence above. I guess that's what happens when you are the only black table in the restaurant!!! They made every excuse in the book to why we waited but accommodated everyone else. It wasn't even a full restaurant, but it felt like they wanted us to leave. All the while everyone is eating except the people who were there 30 minutes before the other tables. Then tell us again how he is short staffed. Every 5 minutes he would say your food is coming out now, then change it to 10 minutes. We listened as he gave couples free drinks for waiting and promised to take care of everything while we just sat there. After sitting for over 90 minutes, we decided to leave. Next the tables that were there 30 minutes after us received there apps and dinner before us, while we were repeatedly told by the bartender that they were short staffed and our food would be out. When other tables were seated, because we were the only table inside for over 30 minutes, she constantly filled there glasses, while ours remained almost empty. The server acted like we were a burden to her, she took our order and that was it.
We asked for a table outside when we reserved, but when we arrived, we were asked to sit inside. Went on a couples date for father's day, and it started bad and ended horrible. If I could give it a negative rating I would.
